Let's Get To Know Jesus

A New Beginning In Jesus

Lord Jesus,

I humbly come before You, acknowledging my need for Your grace. I confess my sins, trusting in Your promise from 1 John 1:9—"If we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Your Word assures me in Romans 10:9—"If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Today, I declare with my mouth that You are my Lord, and I believe in my heart that You died for my sins and rose again.

You are a man of Your word, and I know that You will never leave me or forsake me—as promised in Deuteronomy 31:6 and Hebrews 13:5. No matter what I face, You are with me, guiding, protecting, and loving me.

I ask for Your forgiveness and invite You into my heart to be my Savior. Transform my life, guide me in Your truth, and strengthen me to walk in faith daily. Thank You for Your mercy, love, and sacrifice that gives me new life in You.

Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.

I surrender my heart to You. Lead me, protect me, and fill me with Your Spirit. May my life reflect Your love and truth.

Amen.

Reassurance In Jesus: Q & A

How Can I Be Sure I Am Saved? Understanding Salvation Salvation isn’t about saying a perfect prayer or receiving some physical confirmation from God. There is no special certificate, pass, or sign delivered from heaven. Instead, salvation is entirely spiritual, given freely through faith in Jesus Christ. Faith Secures Salvation The Bible makes it clear that salvation comes by believing in Jesus, not by performing rituals or achieving perfection. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Romans 10:9-10 further explains, "If you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." How to Know You Are Saved Ask yourself these key questions: Do I believe Jesus is the Son of God? Do I believe He died for my sins and rose again? Do I confess Jesus as my Lord? If the answer is yes, then there is no reason to doubt—you are saved, and your future in eternity with Him is secure. Confidence in God’s Promises The Word of God is filled with reassurance about salvation: John 6:37 — Jesus promises not to reject anyone who comes to Him. Colossians 1:14 — Through Jesus, we receive complete redemption and forgiveness. John 1:12 — Faith in Jesus makes us children of God. 1 John 5:11-13 — Eternal life is promised to all who believe in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:17 — In Christ, we are a new creation, made whole and renewed. Hebrews 13:5 — He never leaves or abandons His people. Rest in His Grace Salvation is not based on emotions, perfection, or achievements. It is based on God’s love and your trust in Jesus. When doubt creeps in, return to His Word, where He reassures you that His grace is enough. If you have placed your faith in Jesus, you are secure in Him. Let that truth bring peace, confidence, and a deeper commitment to your relationship with Him.

How Can I Be Sure of My Salvation When I Don’t Feel Like a Christian? Salvation Is Based on Faith, Not Feelings Feelings change constantly. One moment, everything feels certain, and the next, doubt creeps in. But salvation isn’t based on emotions—it’s based on God’s Word and His promise. Romans 10:9-10 says, "If you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." If you have placed your trust in Jesus, your salvation is secure—whether you feel it or not. God’s Truth Is Unchanging John 10:10 reminds us that Jesus came to give abundant life, not confusion or doubt. The enemy loves to stir insecurity, but Scripture says he is a liar (John 8:44). Just as the sunrise comes every morning, God’s promises remain constant. If He says salvation comes by faith in Jesus, then you can count on it—your feelings don’t change His truth. Renewing Your Mind to God’s Word Salvation transforms the spirit, not emotions. It takes time to train your mind to trust what God says rather than how you feel. Hebrews 13:8 declares, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." God’s love and salvation never shift. When doubt arises, declare truth over your life and reject lies that try to steal your peace. Speaking God’s Promises Out Loud If doubt creeps in, counter it with truth: Read Romans 8:38-39, which confirms that nothing can separate you from God’s love. Meditate on 2 Corinthians 5:17—"If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation." Pray daily, asking God to strengthen your confidence in His Word. Final Assurance: You Belong to Jesus If you believe in Jesus and trust His sacrifice, you are saved. It’s not about feeling perfect—it’s about faith in His perfect love. So when doubt rises, stand firm in His promises. God never changes, and neither does your salvation. Keep growing, keep believing, and never let emotions define your faith!

Understanding Salvation after I have confessedJesus Christ. The Bible teaches that salvation is based on faith in Jesus, not on perfect behavior. While sin should not be ignored, it does not immediately strip away salvation. The only way to lose salvation is by completely rejecting Jesus—choosing not to believe in Him anymore. Romans 10:9-10 explains, "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." God’s Grace Covers Sin, But Doesn’t Excuse It Sin does not cancel salvation, but it does create distance between believers and God. That is why repentance is necessary. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and purify us from all unrighteousness." Romans 5:8 reminds us, "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." God knew people would make mistakes, which is why Jesus’ sacrifice covers all sin—past, present, and future. Condemnation Comes From the Enemy, Not God Satan tries to convince believers they are too far gone or no longer worthy of salvation. But guilt and condemnation are lies. Romans 8:1 declares, "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." John 6:37 reassures, "Whoever comes to Me, I will never drive away." If doubt or shame is creeping in, reject the lies and return to God's truth. Repentance Is Key to Spiritual Growth Although salvation remains secure, believers are called to turn away from sin and seek holiness. Romans 12:2 encourages, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Repentance does not mean being perfect—it means choosing God’s way over sin and continually growing in faith. Steps to Stay Strong in Faith Confess sins and trust in Jesus’ forgiveness. Read the Bible daily to stay grounded in truth. Surround yourself with believers who encourage your walk with Jesus. Keep praying and growing in relationship with God. Final Assurance Salvation is not lost because of a mistake. God’s grace is powerful, and His love does not fade. Instead of fearing condemnation, turn to Him, accept His forgiveness, and continue walking in faith. No sin is too great for Jesus to redeem. Trust in His sacrifice, walk in His grace, and keep growing in Him.

Here Are A Few Scriptures That Can Give You Confidence That You Are Renewed In God, Through Jesus Christ? Here are scriptures that affirm your connection to God through Jesus: John 1:12 — "Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." John 3:16 — "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 10:28-29 — "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand." Romans 5:1 — "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 8:1 — "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:38-39 — "Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:17 — "If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" Ephesians 2:8-9 — "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." Philippians 1:6 — "Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." Colossians 1:13-14 — "For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." Hebrews 13:5 — "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." 1 John 5:11-13 — "God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son… I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." These verses confirm that through faith in Jesus, you are eternally connected to God. Keep reading, meditating, and trusting His promises.
