A Prayer for Government

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today, lifting up the leaders and government officials of our nation. Your Word says in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (KJV), "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty."

Lord, grant our leaders wisdom, integrity, and discernment as they make decisions that affect the people they serve. Let righteousness and justice guide their actions, and may they seek Your will above all else.

Protect our nation, bring unity, and let Your peace reign.
