Making Room to Receive from God: Miracles, Miracles, and More Miracles

Let’s be real—life can feel like a nonstop hustle, full of stress, uncertainty, and moments where you wonder if things will ever change. But what if I told you that miracles aren’t just something you read about in old Bible stories—they’re happening now, and they’re meant for YOU?

The thing is, God wants to do miracles in your life, but you gotta make room for them. It’s not about luck or coincidence—it’s about positioning yourself to receive what He already has for you.

1. Clearing Out Distractions

Before you receive a miracle, you gotta make space. Think about it—if your heart and mind are cluttered with doubt, fear, negativity, and distractions, how can you hear God clearly or see the blessings He’s putting in front of you?

Matthew 6:33 (KJV) – "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Prioritizing your relationship with God over everything else sets you up to receive His best. If you’re spending more time stressing than praying, doubting than believing, or chasing temporary things instead of eternal ones, it’s time to shift your focus.

2. Expecting the Impossible

God doesn’t just do small things—He does the impossible. But the catch? You’ve gotta believe He can and WILL move in your life.

Example: Feeding the 5,000

Jesus took five loaves and two fish (basically an ancient equivalent of a tiny snack) and multiplied it to feed thousands.

Matthew 14:19-21 (KJV) – "And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full."

He didn’t say, “Hmm, this isn’t enough.” He thanked God, believed for MORE, and delivered a miracle. When you expect miracles, you start seeing them everywhere.

3. Taking Action in Faith

Here’s the thing—faith isn’t passive. It’s active. God moves when you step out and trust Him before the miracle even happens.

Example: Peter Walking on Water

Peter literally walked on water—like, defied nature and gravity—because he was bold enough to step out when Jesus called him.

Matthew 14:29 (KJV) – "And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus."

God didn’t make the water solid before Peter stepped out—he had to walk in faith first. That’s the key to seeing miracles unfold.

4. Trusting God's Timing

Miracles don’t always happen on your timeline. And let’s be real, waiting is HARD. But trust? Trust is where the breakthrough happens.

Example: Lazarus Raised from the Dead

Jesus could have healed Lazarus before he died, but instead, He waited until it seemed “too late”. Why? Because He wanted people to see that even death is no match for His power.

John 11:43-44 (KJV) – "And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth."

Sometimes, God lets things get to a point where only a miracle can fix them—so when He does it, there’s NO denying His power.

5. Declaring God's Promises Over Your Life

What you speak matters. If you’re constantly talking about how bad things are, how stuck you feel, and how nothing ever works out, guess what? You’re reinforcing negativity instead of EXPECTING miracles.

Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) – "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."

Start declaring:

God is making a way for me.

Miracles are coming.

I am blessed beyond measure.

The more you speak faith, the more you see God move.

Conclusion: Miracles Are Waiting—Make Room for Them

God wants to do crazy, undeniable, mind-blowing miracles in your life. But you’ve gotta get ready:

Clear out distractions and focus on Him.

Expect the impossible—stop limiting God’s power.

Take action in faith before you see results.

Trust His timing even when it seems delayed.

Speak life and His promises over your situation.

Miracles aren’t rare—they’re just waiting for you to be in the right position to receive them. So, are you ready to make room?
