Starting a walk with Jesus is about building a relationship with Him. Here are steps to begin:

1. Recognize Your Need for Him

Understand that Jesus offers forgiveness, purpose, and eternal life. Acknowledge that without Him, life is incomplete. (Romans 3:23)

2. Accept Jesus as Your Savior

Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again. Accept His grace and salvation by placing your trust in Him. (John 3:16)

3. Pray and Invite Him Into Your Life

Talk to God honestly—no perfect words needed. Pray for forgiveness, guidance, and a new life in Him. (Romans 10:9)

4. Read the Bible Regularly

God speaks through His Word. Start with John or Psalms to learn more about Jesus’ love. Scripture deepens understanding and strengthens faith.

5. Connect with Other Believers

Surround yourself with people who encourage and support your faith. Join a church, Bible study, or Christian community.

6. Live Out Your Faith

Let your actions reflect Christ—show love, kindness, and forgiveness. Being a follower of Jesus is a daily journey of growth. (Galatians 5:22-23)

7. Keep Seeking Him Daily

Faith isn’t a one-time decision—it’s an ongoing relationship. Pray, learn, worship, and let Jesus transform your heart.

Taking these steps will lead you toward a deeper, life-changing connection with Jesus. Do you feel ready to begin?

Let's Pray:

Lord Jesus,

I come before You, knowing that I need You. My heart has been searching, and today, I choose to surrender to You. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again, proving Your love and power.

Please forgive me for everything I’ve done wrong. Wash me clean and make me new. I want to walk with You, learn from You, and grow in faith. Help me to trust You, to follow Your ways, and to experience the peace and purpose that only You can give.

I give You my life today. Be my Savior, my Lord, and my guide. Thank You for Your love, Your grace, and the new life I have in You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you prayed this, know that Jesus hears you, welcomes you, and will walk with you from this moment on.
