"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." — Hebrews 13:8

When we reflect on the miracles performed by Jesus Christ, we see undeniable proof of His divine power, compassion, and authority over all things. His miraculous works were not just displays of greatness but expressions of His love for humanity, showing that nothing is too hard for God. The same Jesus who healed the sick, raised the dead, and calmed the storms is still working today.

Miracles of Healing

Throughout His ministry, Jesus healed countless people, demonstrating His power over sickness and disease.

1. Healing the Blind

In John 9:1-7, Jesus encounters a man who had been blind since birth. The disciples ask why he was born blind, but Jesus explains that it was so the works of God could be displayed in him. He spits on the ground, makes mud with the saliva, places it on the man’s eyes, and tells him to wash in the Pool of Siloam. The man obeys—and his sight is fully restored!

This miracle reminds us that Jesus sees beyond the physical condition and into the spiritual purpose. No matter how deep the affliction, He has the power to restore and renew.

2. Healing the Woman with the Issue of Blood

In Luke 8:43-48, a woman suffering from an issue of blood for twelve years reaches out in desperation, believing that if she just touches the hem of His garment, she will be healed. As soon as she touches Him, power flows from Jesus, and she is instantly healed!

Jesus turns to her, acknowledging her faith, saying, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

Faith unlocks miracles. No matter what you’ve been suffering with, when you reach out to Jesus, He responds with healing.

3. Healing the Paralytic

In Mark 2:1-12, four friends bring a paralyzed man to Jesus, but they can’t reach Him because of the crowd. Determined, they lower the man through the roof! Jesus, seeing their faith, first forgives the man’s sins, then commands him to rise, take up his mat, and walk. Immediately, the man is healed and walks away!

This teaches us that sometimes we need people to carry us in faith when we can’t do it ourselves. Jesus honors the faith of those who stand in the gap for others.

Miracles Over Nature

Jesus also showed His authority over creation by performing miracles that defied natural laws.

4. Calming the Storm

In Mark 4:35-41, Jesus and His disciples are in a boat when a violent storm arises. The disciples panic, fearing for their lives, while Jesus is asleep in the boat. They wake Him, asking, “Lord, do You not care if we perish?”

Jesus stands, rebukes the wind, and says, “Peace, be still!” Immediately, the storm ceases, and a great calm follows.

This miracle reminds us that no matter how chaotic life becomes, Jesus speaks peace into every storm. If you feel overwhelmed, trust Him—He has authority over your situation.

Miracles of Provision

Jesus also provided for the needs of the people, proving that He is our source and provider.

5. Feeding the Five Thousand

In John 6:1-14, a massive crowd follows Jesus, but they have no food. A boy offers five loaves and two fish, and Jesus blesses the small offering, multiplies it, and feeds everyone—with leftovers!

Jesus demonstrates that even when resources seem insufficient, He can multiply and provide. No situation is beyond His ability to supply!

Miracles of Resurrection

Jesus showed His ultimate power over death, proving that He is the Resurrection and the Life.

6. Raising Lazarus

In John 11:1-44, Lazarus, a beloved friend of Jesus, dies and is buried for four days. His sisters, Mary and Martha, are mourning, believing it’s too late.

Jesus arrives and declares, “I am the resurrection and the life.” Standing before the tomb, He commands, “Lazarus, come forth!”

Lazarus comes out, alive! Jesus demonstrates that even death cannot defeat His power.

Miracles for Today

Jesus is still performing miracles today. If you ask, trust, and believe, He will work in your life.

Keys to Receiving Your Miracle

Ask — “You do not have because you do not ask.” (James 4:2)

Trust — “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” (Proverbs 3:5)

Believe — “Whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” (Matthew 21:22)

Final Encouragement

Can God? Yes, He Can! He healed before, and He can heal now. He provided then, and He will provide now. He brought peace to the storm, and He can calm yours today.

If He did it before, He can do it again. Trust Him!

Amen.
